General Questions
Q: What is Contract Management?
A: Contract Management is a feature that lets you create, organize, and track business contracts with clients and team members. It helps you manage contract values, dates, and terms all in one place.
Q: Who can use Contract Management?
A: Contract Management is available for users on Pro and Enterprise plans. Your workspace admin must enable it for your workspace.
Q: How do I access Contract Management?
A:
- Log in to your dashboard
- Click Sales or CRM in the sidebar
- Select Contracts
Features Questions
Q: Can I create custom contract types?
A: Yes! You can create unlimited custom contract types to organize your contracts. Go to Contract Types and click Create to add new categories like "Service Agreement", "NDA", etc.
Q: Can I change the contract number format?
A: Yes, you can customize the contract prefix. Go to Settings → Contract and change the prefix from the default #CON to any format you prefer (e.g., CTR-, 2026/, etc.).
Q: How many contracts can I create?
A: You can create:
- Pro Plan: Unlimited contracts
- Enterprise: Unlimited contracts
Q: Can I track contract values?
A: Yes! Every contract includes a value field where you can enter the contract amount. This helps you track total contract value across your business.
Q: Can I see contracts expiring soon?
A: Yes, you can filter contracts by end date to see which ones are expiring soon. This helps with renewal planning.
Troubleshooting
Q: Why can't I see Contracts in my sidebar?
A: This usually means:
- The addon isn't enabled for your workspace - Contact your admin to enable it
- Your plan doesn't include this feature - Check your plan details
- You don't have the required permissions - Ask your admin to grant access
Q: I'm getting a 403 error when I try to access Contracts. What should I do?
A:
- Check if Contract is enabled for your workspace
- Verify your plan includes Contract Management
- Ask your admin to check your permissions
- Try logging out and back in
- If the issue persists, contact support
Q: Why can't I select a contract type when creating a contract?
A: You need to create contract types first. Go to Contract Types → Create to add at least one type before creating contracts.
Q: I accidentally deleted a contract. Can I recover it?
A: Unfortunately, deleted contracts cannot be recovered. Deletion is permanent. For important contracts, we recommend editing instead of deleting.
Q: Where is my contract data stored?
A: Your contract data is securely stored in our cloud infrastructure with encryption and regular backups. Your data is safe and accessible only to your authorized team members.

A: Contract Management is included in:
- ✓ Pro Plan
