Q: What is Sales?

A: Sales is a comprehensive customer relationship management (CRM) platform that helps you manage your entire sales process. You can track customer accounts, manage opportunities through a sales pipeline, generate quotes, process orders, and handle invoicing—all in one integrated system.


Q: Who can use Sales?

A: Sales is available for Company and Workspace users. Your admin needs to enable the Sales module for your workspace and add it to your subscription plan.


Q: How do I access Sales?

A:

  1. Log in to your dashboard
  2. Click Sales in the sidebar
  3. You'll see the Sales dashboard

Q: Can I import accounts and contacts?

A: Yes! Here's how:

  1. Go to SalesAccounts (or Contacts)
  2. Click Import button
  3. Download the template CSV
  4. Fill in your data
  5. Upload the CSV file
  6. Map columns and import

Q: How do I convert a quote to an order?

A:

  1. Open the approved quote
  2. Click Convert or Convert to Order
  3. Review order details
  4. Confirm conversion
  5. Order is created with all quote items

Q: Can I track invoice payments?

A: Yes! Invoice status tracks payments:

  • Open — Created, not sent
  • Not Paid — Sent, awaiting payment
  • Partially Paid — Partial payment received
  • Paid — Fully paid
  • Cancelled — Cancelled

Update status manually or through payment integrations.


Q: How many accounts can I create?

A: You can create:

  • Pro Plan: Unlimited accounts
  • Enterprise: Unlimited accounts

A: The typical workflow is:

Q: Can I create a quote without an opportunity?

A: Yes! You can create quotes:

  • From an opportunity (recommended)
  • Directly from an account
  • Manually without linking

Q: How do I set up my sales pipeline stages?

  1. Go to SalesOpportunity Stages (or Settings)
  2. Click + Create
  3. Add stage names in order (e.g., Qualification, Proposal, Negotiation, Closed Won)
  4. Set the order/sequence
  5. Save

Troubleshooting

Q: Why can't I see Sales in my sidebar?

A: This usually means:

  1. The addon isn't enabled for your workspace - contact your admin
  2. Your plan doesn't include this feature - check your plan details
  3. You don't have the required permissions - ask your admin to grant access

Q: I'm getting an error when I try to create a quote. What should I do?

A:

  1. Ensure you have an account selected
  2. Make sure you have products/services available (check Product & Service module)
  3. Refresh the page (Cmd + Shift + R)
  4. Clear your browser cache
  5. If the issue persists, contact support

Q: How do I change the quote/invoice template?

A:

  1. Go to SalesQuotes (or Invoices)
  2. Open any quote/invoice
  3. Click Template Settings or Preview
  4. Select template and color scheme
  5. Save settings
