What is Contract Management?

Contract Management is a powerful feature that helps you create, organize, and track all your business contracts in one place.

What you can do:

  • ✓ Create professional contracts with clients
  • ✓ Track contract values and expiration dates
  • ✓ Organize contracts by type (Service, NDA, Employment, etc.)
  • ✓ Assign contracts to specific users
  • ✓ Monitor contract status and history

How to Access

Step 1: Navigate to Contracts

  1. Log in to your dashboard
  2. In the sidebar, look for the Sales or CRM section
  3. Click Contracts

💡 Tip: If you don't see Contracts in your sidebar, contact your admin to enable it for your workspace.

Step 2: Explore the Dashboard

When you first access Contracts, you'll see:

  • A list of all your contracts (empty at first)
  • A + Create button to add new contracts
  • Filter and search options

Quick Start (5 Minutes)

Create Your First Contract

Step Action
1 Click + Create or + Add Contract
2 Fill in the required fields (see below)
3 Click Save

Required Fields:

Field What to Enter Example
Subject Contract title "Web Development Services"
User/Client Who is this contract with Select from dropdown
Contract Type Category of contract "Service Agreement"
Value Contract amount $5,000
Start Date When contract begins 2026-01-15
End Date When contract ends 2026-12-31

Optional Fields:

  • Notes: Additional terms, conditions, or details

First-Time Setup (Recommended)

Before creating contracts, set up your contract types:

  1. Go to Contract Types (usually in Contracts submenu)
  2. Click + Create
  3. Add your common contract types:
    • Service Agreement
    • Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
    • Employment Contract
    • Consulting Agreement
    • Partnership Agreement
