The Internal Knowledge addon helps you build a well-organized knowledge base with Books (categories), Articles (content), and interactive Mindmaps.


What is Internal Knowledge?

Internal Knowledge is a structured knowledge hub that helps you:

  • Create Books — Organize knowledge into categorized collections
  • Write Articles — Add content with flexible types (documents, mindmaps)
  • Build Mindmaps — Visualize processes with interactive node diagrams
  • Share Knowledge — Generate public links for sharing
  • Personal Space — Manage your own articles in "My Articles"

How to Access Internal Knowledge

  1. Log in to your Custojo dashboard
  2. In the sidebar, look for Knowledge section
  3. You'll see these options:
    • Books
    • Articles
    • My Articles
    • Mindmap

First Steps

Step 1: Create a Knowledge Book

Books are containers for related articles:

  1. Go to Books
  2. Click + Create
  3. Enter:
    • Title — Book name (e.g., "Company Policies", "Onboarding Guide")
    • Description — Brief summary
    • Assign Users — Who can access (optional)
  4. Save

Step 2: Add Your First Article

  1. Go to Articles
  2. Click + Create
  3. Fill in:
    • Title — Article name
    • Book — Select parent book
    • Content Type — Document or Mindmap
    • Description — Article content
  4. Save

Step 3: Create a Mindmap (Optional)

  1. Go to Mindmap
  2. Start with a main node (central idea)
  3. Add child nodes to expand the concept
  4. Drag and drop to rearrange
  5. Save — Mindmap is linked to its article
