The Internal Knowledge addon helps you build a well-organized knowledge base with Books (categories), Articles (content), and interactive Mindmaps.
What is Internal Knowledge?
Internal Knowledge is a structured knowledge hub that helps you:
- Create Books — Organize knowledge into categorized collections
- Write Articles — Add content with flexible types (documents, mindmaps)
- Build Mindmaps — Visualize processes with interactive node diagrams
- Share Knowledge — Generate public links for sharing
- Personal Space — Manage your own articles in "My Articles"
How to Access Internal Knowledge
- Log in to your Custojo dashboard
- In the sidebar, look for Knowledge section
- You'll see these options:
- Books
- Articles
- My Articles
- Mindmap
First Steps
Step 1: Create a Knowledge Book
Books are containers for related articles:
- Go to Books
- Click + Create
- Enter:
- Title — Book name (e.g., "Company Policies", "Onboarding Guide")
- Description — Brief summary
- Assign Users — Who can access (optional)
- Save
Step 2: Add Your First Article
- Go to Articles
- Click + Create
- Fill in:
- Title — Article name
- Book — Select parent book
- Content Type — Document or Mindmap
- Description — Article content
- Save
Step 3: Create a Mindmap (Optional)
- Go to Mindmap
- Start with a main node (central idea)
- Add child nodes to expand the concept
- Drag and drop to rearrange
- Save — Mindmap is linked to its article
