What is MailBox?
MailBox is an email management system that integrates with your email account via IMAP/SMTP. Access your inbox, send emails, reply to messages, and organize emails in folders—all within Custojo.
What you can do:
- ✓ Access your email inbox
- ✓ Compose and send emails
- ✓ Reply to emails
- ✓ Organize emails in folders (Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Spam, Trash, Archive)
- ✓ Star/unstar emails
- ✓ Attach files to emails
- ✓ Mark emails as read/unread
Prerequisites
⚠️ Before You Begin: MailBox requires these prerequisites.

💡 Don't have IMAP/SMTP enabled? Enable IMAP and SMTP in your email account settings (Gmail, Outlook, etc.). You may need to generate an app password.
How to Access
Step 1: Configure Your Email
- Log in to your dashboard
- Go to MailBox → Configuration (or
/mailbox/configuration) - Enter your email credentials:
- Email address
- IMAP server settings
- SMTP server settings
- Port numbers
- SSL/TLS settings
- Click Save
💡 Tip: Common settings:
- Gmail IMAP: imap.gmail.com, Port 993, SSL
- Gmail SMTP: smtp.gmail.com, Port 587, TLS
- Outlook IMAP: outlook.office365.com, Port 993, SSL
- Outlook SMTP: smtp.office365.com, Port 587, TLS
Step 2: Access Your Inbox
- After configuration, go to MailBox → Inbox (or
/mailbox/index) - Your emails will load from your IMAP server
- You'll see folders: Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Spam, Trash, Archive
